Sour cider and a barrel aged beer for the two ladies. I had a ESB because I Was driving boo.

So I took off what has become an annual two week break from running. I never planned it to become an annual event but that is way things worked out. It happened because in June my wife and I run two half marathons a week apart. But the last two years we decided to go to Disneyland for our anniversary. So taking the week after the second half marathon and than being in Disneyland made it so. But this year starting back to running was a bit weird. It was cold windy and rainy when we got back. I had to dig out my cold weather running gear. I had packed it away because it was summer and well I didn’t think I would need it. I should know better when we got married all those years ago it snowed the night before our wedding and two days later it was in the 90’s. I guess that’s living in the PNW for us. Now back to starting over with running Deschutes River Trail here I come.
